BHS North Campus Daily Announcements - Dec. 2

THE HOLIDAY SEASON IS QUICKLY APPROACHING Student Council is holding a door decorating contest that is open to all students 10-12.

If you would like to compete in the door decorating, please sign up in the Career Center before Dec. 1st. Fabulous prizes will be awarded to the top four doors.

ATTENTION SENIORS- Senior portraits for the yearbook are due by Dec. 19th. Please email or bring your portrait to Mr. Wagner by then. If you do not, your Lifetouch picture will be used instead.

STUDENTS: GSA will meet Thursdays after school from 3:30-4:30. Please join us.

FINALLY HERE!!!! The Warrior Outlet is pleased to announce we now have hot chocolate, French Vanilla Cappuccino and Coffee for sale priced at $1.00 for a 16 ounce cup. Punch cards will work with the hot drinks too.

New t-shirts and sweatpants have arrived and more items are on order. Don't forget to get your motion sensing Power Decal to show your Warrior Pride.

OPERATION PAPERBACK: Please consider helping provide entertainment for soldiers overseas!

For two weeks (Tuesday, Nov. 29 - Friday, Dec. 9), Ms Hegstrom's Social Studies Classes are collecting gently used paperbacks (no romance novels, please) and DVDs to ship to soldiers overseas. Money is also being collected for the shipping costs (about 25 cents per paperback).

All donations can be dropped off in Room A125. Thank You very much for supporting our soldiers!

BHS CHRISTMAS BALL will be held Saturday, December 10th at Cragun's Sports Center. Tickets are now on sale.

Tickets can be purchased from Shelly in the Main Office or from Linda in the Career Center for $10 per person. ONLY BHS CURRENT students in grades 10-12 are invited. No past graduates or current students at a high school other than BHS can attend.

BHS MADRIGAL DINNER: Tickets are still available for Friday evening, December 2nd. See Shirley in the Main Office. The tickets are $35.


GIRLS TENNIS PLAYERS: State Tournament certificates are available for pick up, see Coach Fussy.

I've worked at the Brainerd Dispatch with various duties since Dec. 7, 1983. Starting off as an Ad Designer and currently Director of Audience Development. The Dispatch has been an interesting and challenging place to work. I'm fortunate to have made many friends, both co-workers and customers.
