OPERATION PAPERBACK: Please consider helping provide entertainment for soldiers overseas!

For two weeks (Tuesday, Nov. 29 - Friday, Dec. 9), Ms Hegstrom's Social Studies Classes are collecting gently used paperbacks (no romance novels, please) and DVDs to ship to soldiers overseas. Money is also being collected for the shipping costs (about 25 cents per paperback).

All donations can be dropped off in Room A125. Thank You very much for supporting our soldiers!

ALL FOOTBALL PLAYERS: need to stop by the equipment cage to pick up letter awards.

CLUBS:

SPANISH CLUB MEETING will be on Wednesday, December 7, at 7:50 am and fiesta on Thursday, December 15, after school, in SC 603.

ANNUAL CLASS CABINET FOOD DRIVE This year instead of the usual competition between Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors, the class cabinet members decided to have a competition between first hour classes.

The competition will run from Monday, December 5 through Friday, December 9th. The prize for the first hour class with the most items per student is a breakfast prepared by a Chef from a local restaurant, with the date and menu selected by the teacher.

If you would like to participate, please email your response as soon as possible. Your duty will be to collect food for your first hour class. Our class cabinet members will collect and count the food items from your room each morning during Channel 1 time.

I've worked at the Brainerd Dispatch with various duties since Dec. 7, 1983. Starting off as an Ad Designer and currently Director of Audience Development. The Dispatch has been an interesting and challenging place to work. I'm fortunate to have made many friends, both co-workers and customers.
