Brainerd firefighters respond

Brainerd firefighters respond to calls

The Brainerd Fire Department responded to a few calls over the weekend beginning with a call at 3:33 a.m. Saturday at Mississippi Terrace, 217 S.W. Fourth St., of a laundry room that was full of steam that made the smoke alarms go off.

On Sunday, firefighters responded to a call at 11:39 a.m. to a vehicle fire at 10th Avenue and Washington Street; at 12:55 p.m. to a brush fire at 17700 Smith Road, where about an acre of woods burned; and at 1:16 p.m. to a one-car rollover that resulted in no injuries on Crow Wing County Road 77.
