4-vehicle crash near Willmar kills 1, injures 6

WILLMAR, Minn. (AP) — The Minnesota State Patrol says one vehicle collided into a second near Willmar, leading to a four-vehicle crash that left one man dead and six others injured.

The State Patrol says a motorist who was driving on Highway 7 failed to stop for a red light Saturday afternoon. The motorist crashed into a pickup truck, which rolled onto two other vehicles.

A passenger in one of those vehicles was a 29-year-old Redwood Falls man. He died at the scene. His 50-year-old father was taken a hospital in critical condition.

A KARE-TV report ( ) says five others suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
