2 men unhurt when ATV falls into lake

FERGUS FALLS, Minn. (AP) — Two men are OK after their four-wheeler fell into open water on an Otter Tail County lake.

Authorities say 26-year-old Andrew Swank and 24-year-old Dallas Williamson, both of Austin, were driving the all-terrain vehicle back to shore on Dead Lake, pulling a portable fish house behind them, when the ATV fell into the water shortly before midnight Tuesday.

The Daily Journal of Fergus Falls ( ) reports the men were able to make it back to the ice before calling authorities. They told authorities they had not seen the open water when they drove out to fish earlier that day.
