Identity of $1 million raffle ticket holder will be identified Tuesday

WADENA — The identity of the person who purchased a winning $1 million Minnesota Millionaire Raffle ticket in Wadena County will be released at a 1 p.m. Tuesday news conference.

The Minnesota State Lottery officials said the news conference will be conducted at the Holiday store where the ticket was purchased at 101 Jefferson St. in Wadena. Officials said no additional information will be available until the news conference. The ticket was purchased for the Jan. 1, drawing.

The other $1 million prize for the Jan. 1 drawing was purchased in Steele County and has not yet been claimed.
