Firefighters respond to attic fire Saturday

An electrical fire in an attic was confined to one spot after the Brainerd Fire Department was called to the home on the 7500 block of County Road 23 Saturday.

The fire was reported at 6:56 p.m. No one was injured fighting the fire. The homeowners were treated for smoke inhalation.

Earlier Saturday, firefighters responded to an alarm at 9:42 a.m. at the Iron Rail in downtown Brainerd. It turned out to be a false alarm.
