Firefighters busy with calls

The Brainerd Fire Department responded to multiple calls Thursday, starting at 11:05 a.m. at Central Lakes College where construction dust set off the smoke alarm.

Shortly after 11:45 a.m., firefighters responded to the Washington Education Services Building where air was detected in the sprinkler system that set off the smoke alarm. At 1:16 p.m., firefighters responded to a vehicle fire on Crow Wing County Road 3 and Wise Road.
