Growers warned of potential spring drought conditions
A drought threat posed across southern and western Minnesota is the most serious in more than a decade, according to University of Minnesota Extension climatologist Mark Seeley.
Central Minnesota, including Aitkin, Cass, Crow Wing, Mille Lacs, Morrison, Todd and Wadena counties, is listed in moderate drought, according to the U.S. Drought Monitor.
