Information on homeopathy to be offered at March 6 meeting

Information on homeopathic medicine will be presented from 6 to 7:30 p.m. March 6 will be conducted at the small meeting room at the Brainerd Public Library at 416 S. Fifth St. The presentation will begin at 6 p.m. sharp but participants may join the session in progress.

The meeting is organized by Steve Park. Two videos will be shown “Homeopathy — Just Good Medicine” and Simple Concepts — Understanding Vaccines and How They May Hurt You.”

Borden attends Minnesota

Farmers Union meeting

John Borden, Crow Wing County Farmers Union president, met recently with the full board of directors of the Minnesota Farmers Union.

Borden said in a news release the full board meeting gives county presidents a voice on federal and state issues. Topics that were discussed included Farm Service Agency closings, reinstatement of the Homestead Tax Credit, water conservation and wolf management.
