KSTP-TV (http://bit.ly/w5WuR6) reports students from Oak Grove Middle School were walking around the Richard T. Anderson Conservation Area on Thursday morning. A group of about 30 found the body on a trail in a wooded area.

Eden Prairie police say it was a man who apparently had shot himself. A weapon was found near the body.

The teacher canceled the rest of the field trip and took the students back to school where grief counselors were available.
