Collection set up for unused prescription medications

LITTLE FALLS — The Little Falls Police Department has partnered with the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office to establish an ongoing program to collect and destroy unused prescription medications.

Medicines play an important role in treating many conditions and diseases, but when they are no longer needed it’s important to dispose of them properly. The goal is to give all Morrison County residents a safe way to remove expired, unwanted, or unused medicines from the home and reduce the chance that others may accidentally take the medicine.

The collection point for all Morrison County residents will be located in the lobby at the Little Falls Police Department at 207 First St. N.E. The lobby hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
