Ironton woman, with three kids in truck, flees troopers

ST. CLOUD (AP) — An Ironton woman with three young kids in her pickup truck led law enforcement officers on a high-speed chase through Benton and Sherburne counties Thursday night, the Minnesota State Patrol reported.

Authorities say troopers tried to stop Rebecca Lueck, 31, for speeding but she refused to pull over. She allegedly got onto a highway and fled 20 miles to Clear Lake.

A Sherburne County Sheriff’s deputy eventually used stop sticks to deflate at least one tire and Lueck was taken into custody.

The children in Lueck’s pickup truck were ages 7, 3 and 2.

Three squad cars sustained minor to moderate damage while attempting blocking maneuvers during the chase. No injuries were reported.
