Brainerd area couple wins radio wedding contest
Lacey McCulley and Dylan Eschenbacher of the Brainerd area, who qualified as one of four finalist couples in a St. Cloud radio station’s Grand Wedding Giveaway, have won.
The couple won a wedding with an estimated value of up to $75,000, in a contest sponsored by KCLD 104.7.
“Oh my gosh we were so excited,” said McCulley about winning the contest. “It is more than I could have ever imagined ... I’m so excited that most of our family and friends, who all contributed to the vote, will be at our wedding.”
Eschenbacher and McCulley will get married Saturday in Sartell. The couple met in 4-H, five years ago. McCulley said in her entry that her father was killed in a car accident on March 22, 2010, and that the couple had “next to nothing” in wedding funds.
