PINE RIVER — A 51-year-old Pine River man was injured Saturday after the all-terrain vehicle he was driving rolled over and he became trapped underneath it on Highway 84, 7 1/2 miles north of Pine River, reported the Minnesota State Patrol.

Steven Foran was taken to Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby to be treated for non-life threatening injuries. The hospital had no information on Foran’s condition Monday.

It was reported that Foran was traveling south in the highway’s northbound lane when he attempted to turn west and lost control, rolling into the southbound lane. The state patrol reported that alcohol was detected in Foran’s system.

The accident was reported at 12:40 a.m.

The Cass County Sheriff’s office, Pine River police and fire departments and North Memorial ambulance assisted at the scene.
