USDA reminds crop producers of June deadline

USDA Crow Wing-Cass Farm Service Agency (FSA) County Executive Director Trisha McMonagle reminds producers enrollment for Average Crop Revenue Election (ACRE) Program or the traditional Direct and Counter-cyclical Program (DCP) runs through June 1.

Producers should contact the county office to set up appointments. Annual contracts are required to be signed to receive program benefits. All signatures of producers receiving a share in DCP and ACRE payments are required by June 1.

For more information about DCP and ACRE programs or other FSA programs, contact the local Crow Wing-Cass County USDA-FSA, 7118 Clearwater Road in Baxter, 829-5965, or at the Aitkin-Itasca County USDA-FSA, 130 Southgate Drive in Aitkin, (218) 927-2912.

For more information on DCP or ACRE, contact a nearby FSA county office or visit the FSA website at
