Wildfire burns more than 1,400 acres near Nimrod


NIMROD, Minn. — Firefighters are battling a wildfire that has already burned more than 1,400 acres in north-central Minnesota.

The fire started Sunday about 4 p.m. near Lyons State Forest near Nimrod. Wadena County emergency manager Scott McKellep says no injuries were reported as of late Sunday night.
