Living Local Expo planned

CROSBY — The Living Local Expo is a group of locally motivated individuals and groups that will be offering something for everyone. Stop by the Hallett Center of Crosby from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 28 and enjoy the food vendors, bake sale, local businesses and civic groups, exhibitions, artists, crafters, dancers, TaeKwonDo demonstrations and more.

The line-up of speakers for the day are: 9 a.m., Louise Johnson, Gardening 101; 9:30 a.m., TaeKwonDo demonstration; 10 a.m., Heartland Dance and Gymnastics; 10:30 a.m., Just For Kix performances; 11:30 a.m., Jenny Smith, Cuyuna Lakes Trail Association information; noon, Wild and Free; 12:30 p.m., DNR, shoreline restoration and more; 1:30 p.m., Garrison Disposal on recycling; 2 p.m., Planning for the future.

I've worked at the Brainerd Dispatch with various duties since Dec. 7, 1983. Starting off as an Ad Designer and currently Director of Audience Development. The Dispatch has been an interesting and challenging place to work. I'm fortunate to have made many friends, both co-workers and customers.
