Benefit for accident victim is April 28

Family members of Justin Don Dechon of Brainerd, who was injured in mid-January in a two-vehicle crash on Wise Road, is set for 4 to 8 p.m. April 28 at the Brainerd VFW.

A spaghetti and meatball dinner will be available for $6 and a bake sale and silent auction will also be conducted. Silent auction items include a 42-inch flat screen TV, chainsaw carvings, digital video camcorders, large and small quilts and more.

Benefit organizers said Dechon suffered a traumatic brain injury and is recuperating at Courage Center in Golden Valley.
