Vehicle rolls and ejects driver in Highway 371 crash

A 49-year-old driver was injured Sunday when he lost control of his vehicle, rolled and was ejected.

Lee Johnson, Burnsville, suffered serious but non life-threatening injuries, the state patrol reported. He was not wearing a seat belt.

The crash was reported at 2:19 p.m. Sunday on Highway 371 in Morrison County. The Little Falls police department and Morrison County sheriff’s office assisted at the scene.

Johnson was driving a Chevrolet Suburban and alone in the vehicle. He was driving south on the highway when he ran off the left side of the road into the median. The vehicle overturned and he was ejected. The Suburban was severely damaged.

Johnson was taken to St. Gabriel’s Hospital in Little Falls.
