Housing briefs May 11
Gardening classes are planned in May and June taught by University of Minnesota Extension Crow Wing County Master Gardeners at the Northland Arboretum.
The following four gardening classes will be taught during the months of May and June: Kitchen Gardens on May 24 presented by JoAnn Weaver; Herbs on May 31 presented by Judy Saari; Hardy Roses on June 7 presented by Jackie Burkey; and Weekend Gardener on June 14 presented by Jackie Froemming.
All four classes will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Northland Arboretum. The cost of each class is $8 for Arb members or $10 for non-members.

Nygard joins Edina
Realty in Crosslake
CROSSLAKE — Kathy Nygard, a new real estate agent in the lakes area, joined the marketing team at Up North Properties Team with Edina Realty in Crosslake.
Nygard has been a licensed real estate agent for about five years and previously lived in the Twin Cities. Now a full-time resident, her family has vacationed in the lakes area since the 1960s and, with her husband, she’s been a property owner in the area for 12 years.
