Three finalists named to head LF Schools

LITTLE FALLS — The Little Falls School Board Wednesday narrowed the field of candidates for the superintendent search from seven to three finalists. The times of the interviews for the finalists also was determined.

The finalist are Mary Klamm, superintendent of Menahga Schools, who will be interviewed Tuesday; Stephen Jones, superintendent of Sibley East Schools, who’ll be interviewed Wednesday; and Lee Westrum, superintendent of Benson Schools, to be interviewed Thursday.

All interviews will take place in the LeBourget Room at Lindbergh Elementary School. The interviews are a day-long experience for the candidates to meet with a variety of groups within the school community.

The school board will conduct a special school board meeting at 8:45 p.m. Thursday, to select a final candidate to enter into contract negotiations.

Little Falls Superintendent Curt Tryggestad in March accepted a superintendent position at Eden Prairie schools.
