Firefighters respond

The Brainerd Fire Department responded to multiple calls over the holiday weekend.

Firefighters were called at 1:07 p.m. Saturday to Cub Foods in Brainerd to a general fire alarm.

On Sunday, firefighters were called at 11:44 a.m. to Frandsen Bank and Trust on Excelsior Drive in Baxter to a water flow alarm, then at 10:20 p.m., responded to 812 S. Sixth St. to check on a carbon monoxide detector.

On Monday, firefighters were called at 10:32 a.m. to a residence that was flooding at 224 First Ave. Firefighters also responded to a two-vehicle crash at 3:22 p.m. on Red Pine and Highway 25 in Brainerd. The Brainerd Police Department reported that one occupant was transported to the hospital.
