In Monday’s story on local veterans sharing stories during the Brainerd American Legion’s All Generations Veterans’ Coffee Time, it incorrectly listed that Don Peterson enlisted in the army after high school. The story should have said that Peterson enlisted in the navy.

Also, a Page 5A story in Monday’s Dispatch listed incorrect details regarding a two-vehicle collision on Highway 371 north of Brainerd. The story should have stated a Honda Accord driven by Tyler Tanner was following too close to a van driven by Ralph Michels and ran into a trailer being pulled by the van when traffic slowed. Also, the injured party in Michels’ van, Elizabeth Prokop, was transported to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale, not Essentia Health - St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd.

The Dispatch regrets the errors.
