Gull Lake reservoir crested, to recede slowly

Gull Lake crested Wednesday at elevation 1,195.09 feet, tying the record set July 22, 1952. The lake is slowly receding. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, anticipates that, with minimal rainfall, it will take approximately three weeks before the reservoir will drop back to elevation 1,194.0 feet, the center of the normal summer operating band.
