Jutila upgraded to serious condition

Andrew Jutila was upgraded to serious condition Friday at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale.

Jutila, 29, Cloquet, was critically injured Wednesday morning while working on the College Drive project when an excavator backed over him at the College Drive and Fourth Street South intersection in Brainerd. Jutila suffered significant injuries to his pelvic and leg areas. Jutila and the excavator operator are employed by Andrew Jutila Companies of Scanlon.
