Morrison foundation issues award to Hoofbeats

Morrison Hoofbeats receive award

At the Morrison County Awards Foundation Awards Reception the foundation presented a $1,000 check to Toni Kathrien of the Morrison County Hoofbeats 4-H Club. In 2011, the Morrison County Hoofbeats had more than 40 horses stalled at the Morrison County Fair. Because the Hoofbeats have promoted their organization at parades and other events, new members have joined the Hoofbeats and gates and panels are needed to stall additional horses at the Morrison County Fairgrounds.

“We are happy to help the 4-H encourage educational and membership growth. 4-H does an excellent job promoting family involvement,” said Robin Klosowski, president of the Morrison County Area Foundation.
