Brainerd woman injured in 4-vehicle crash

A 41-year-old Brainerd woman was injured as a result of a four-vehicle crash reported at 6:46 p.m. Tuesday on the 400 block of Washington Street, reported the Brainerd Police Department.

Candace Mailhot was transported by North Memorial Ambulance to Essentia Health St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd, where she was treated and then released.

The other three drivers — Christopher Harris, 43, Deerwood, Amber Wimmer, 28, Baxter and Joshua Mailhot, 30, Brainerd — were not injured.

It was reported that the vehicles driven by Harris and Wimmer were stopped and Candace Mailhot came to a stop behind their vehicles and Joshua Mailhot was unable to stop and rear-ended Candace Mailhot’s vehicle, which rear-ended Wimmer’s vehicle, which rear-ended Harris’ vehicle.
