Mississippi Headwaters Board meets June 22

WALKER — The Mississippi Headwaters Board will conduct its monthly meeting at 9 a.m. June 22, at the Cass County Courthouse conference room, 303 Minnesota Ave. West, Walker. The Mississippi Headwaters Board normally holds its regular monthly meeting the third Friday of each month but due to scheduling conflicts, the meeting date has changed for June. The meeting runs from 9 a.m. to approximately noon, at the Cass County Courthouse in Walker. The public is invited to attend anytime during the morning, however, an open forum period is scheduled immediately following the regular MHB meeting.

The Mississippi Headwaters Board (MHB) meets to review and certify zoning activities and to discuss land use and water quality issues in the Mississippi Headwaters. Meetings are generally held in Walker, but occasionally are moved throughout the Headwaters region.

Those who would like to receive a copy of the agenda or minutes from/for any of the meetings or have zoning questions or concerns and would like to be added to the agenda, may call the MHB office at 824-1307 or their county planning and zoning administrator.
