Open house set for Highway 371 project in Nisswa
Area residents, business owners and other interested individuals are invited to an open house to discuss plans for a project to improve Highway 371 in Nisswa.
The open house is planned from 4:30-6:30 p.m., July 17, at Nisswa City Hall, 5442 City Hall St.
Participants will be able to view the project’s layout and design, learn about the schedule and traffic plans and have their questions answered directly from project representatives and local officials.
The $7 million project includes:
• Reconstructing four lanes of Highway 371.
• Relocating the signalized intersection at Highway 371/Crow Wing County Road 18.
• Constructing a new County Road 18 connection to northeast of Nisswa.
• Constructing a roundabout at Smiley Road.
When the project is complete, motorists will experience a smoother ride surface and a safer highway, the Minnesota Department of Transportation reported.
