Crow Wing County ATV clubs host booth at county fair

The Cuyuna Iron Range Riders ATV club (Crosby, Ironton) and Central Lakes ATV club (Merrifield) will have a booth the Crow Wing County Fair July 31-Aug. 4 in Industrial Building 4, booth 430 at the Crow Wing County Fairgrounds, 2000 13th St. SE Brainerd. Admission is free.

New this year will be the Department of Natural Resources all-terrain vehicle (ATV) simulator. The simulator allows participants to test ride and experience the feel of riding an ATV in a safe environment. The simulator is free to try.

In addition, DNR ATV trail maps, off-highway vehicle regulations and club information will be available.

The clubs are actively pursuing grant-in-aid trails in Crow Wing County. The clubs report supporting responsible riding, and being active with youth safety training and trail ambassadorship.
