Crow Wing sheriff

SUSPICIOUS — A report at 6:47 p.m. Wednesday of a white van with out of state plates dropping people off in the neighborhood who are trying to sell things and one male said he was a disadvantaged child and looking for a job.

A report at 10:17 a.m. Tuesday of an older male standing out in the middle of the road on Crow Wing County Road 3 and 118 in Merrifield yelling at passing cars.

Brainerd police

ARREST— Alvin L. Perkins, 52, was arrested at 1:43 a.m. Thursday for third-and fifth-degree assault and disorderly conduct.
