State shuts down gambling operation in St. Cloud

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (AP) — Police have shut down an alleged illegal gambling operation in St. Cloud.

Officers on Thursday raided Triple Crown Sweepstakes and seized what authorities allege are illegal gambling devices, similar to video slot machines.

Both the Minnesota Department of Public Safety Alcohol and Gambling Enforcement Division and St. Cloud police had investigated Triple Crown.
