First half of taxes for manufactured homes is due
BHS class of 2002 10-year class reunion planned
The Brainerd High School class of 2002 will have its 10-year class reunion from 6-9 p.m. Saturday at Zorbaz Restaurant on Gull Lake. It will be $15/person at the door which includes a taco and pizza buffet which is what the money goes toward. Spouses, significant others and kids may come as well.
Blood donation opportunities available
Blood donation opportunities are available at the following locations: Noon to 5 p.m. Sept. 5, American Legion, 23659 Forest Road, Deerwood; from noon to 6 p.m. Sept. 6 and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 7, Lutheran Church of the Cross, 5064 CR 13, Nisswa; and from noon to 6 p.m. Sept. 12, City Hall, 21236 Second St., Emily; and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 13, Camp Ripley Armory, 15000 Highway 115, Little Falls.
First half of manufactured home taxes are due
The first half of manufactured home taxes are due on or before Aug. 31. State law requires that a late penalty of 8 percent be applied to the unpaid balance on Sept. 1.
These taxes are payable at the Crow Wing County Auditor-Treasurer’s office in the historic courthouse or by mail with a postmark of Aug. 31.
Crow Wing County has partnered with official payments to offer taxpayers an option to pay these taxes electronically either over the Internet by going to www.mncountypayments.org or calling 800-272-9829.
All Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover credit and debit cards are taken.
