Cass authorities confiscate 120 marijuana plants
OUTING —A man was arrested Saturday for third-degree drug possession, after authorities seized 120 marijuana plants with an estimated street value up to $120,000, reported Cass County Sheriff Tom Burch.
Burch said the arrest was a result of an ongoing investigation of a marijuana plant growth plot, which was located on county property in Beulah Township near Outing.
The arrest was the result of an investigation being conducted by the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, the DNR and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
The suspect has been released on bail by the judge, but authorities are withholding his name pending formal charges.
