Skoog remains in critical condition

Gregory Skoog, the 65-year-old Brainerd man injured in a three-vehicle crash Sunday south of Brainerd, remained in critical condition Monday afternoon at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale.

The crash happened at Highway 25 and Shawkia Drive and left six people injured. Skoog was airlifted from the scene.

Skoog’s wife, Nancy Skoog, 63, a passenger in the car, suffered non life-threatening injuries. She was reported in good condition Monday at Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd.

Occupants of one of the other vehicles, driver LeRoy Hamann, 78, Wadena, and his wife Lois Hamann, 75, both suffered non life-threatening injuries and were taken to Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center, where they were treated and later released.
