Training for conversations on

marriage amendment set for Tuesday

HACKENSACK — On Tuesday, Aug. 28 at 7 p.m. at the Union Congregational Church, Hackensack area residents will participate in “Let Your Friends Know” faith trainings, which are focused on encouraging people to have faith-based conversations with people in their lives to urge them to vote no on the proposed constitutional amendment on marriage. 

The training runs from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, at the church, located at 401 Lake Ave., E. in Hackensack. Javen Swanson, a Pine River native and a faith organizer with Minnesotans United for All Families will speak.
