GLOBAL DAY OF STUDENT PRAYER: September 26th at the BHS Flag Pole 7:45am.

ATTENTION ALL BHS STUDENTS: Super fans are wanting your support!! They will have Super fan T Shirts for sale on Thursday and Friday of this week. T-shirts will be on sale before school and during both lunches on those days. Shirts are selling for $10. Come out and support the super fans!

ATTENTION SCIENCE STUDENTS: We have a wonderful opportunity to attend the Nobel Science Conference in St. Peter, MN at Gustavus College October 2nd and 3rd , all expenses paid. The topic of the conference this year is "Our Global Ocean". We will most likely cap the attendance at 40. Anyone interested in attending this overnight trip should obtain an application from any science teacher and complete it by Monday, September 24 . (Klecatsky)

DRIVER'S ED: Fall may be the best time for you to take Driver Ed. Classes will begin on Tuesday, September 11 in Room 907 at the South Campus. Save money with Community Ed. Call 454-6924 or register online. The next class begins on October 29.

11th - 12th GRADE STUDENTS will have the opportunity to enroll in a

Business Work Seminar and Business Work Experience course this semester. Students must be employed or gain employment within the first 2 weeks of the semester. Work experience must be in a business related setting such as retail, sales, marketing, hospitality and tourism, finance, etc. For further information please see your guidance counselor ASA.

STUDENT PICTURES: Lifetouch will be in the building on Thursday, September 13th to take student photos. Forms are available in the classrooms and in the main office. Please make sure you pick one up.


JUNIOR CLASS CABINET: Officers only meeting on Thursday, Sept. 6th at 7:45 AM in Room 200. See you there!!!

DEBATERS…. There will be a brief meeting in room A150 (Deeb's Room) on Thursday, September 6th at 3:20 to begin the debate season. Please make it a point to attend. (Borash)

THE BHS INTERACT CLUB is accepting new members. Interact is the largest youth organization in the world. If you want to join a club that does local and International service projects, Interact is the club for you. Service projects may be required for entrance into some colleges. Get Involved, Make a difference, Interact. If you would like join, meetings are every Thursday at 7:40 am in the south conference room located directly across from the main office. There is no cost to join. See you there.

KEY CLUB: First meeting will be Tuesday, Sept. 11th in Room 200 (Augustinack). If you would like to be involved in community and school volunteering and the Red Cross Blood Drive and other activities, please come to the meeting and join KEY CLUB.

I've worked at the Brainerd Dispatch with various duties since Dec. 7, 1983. Starting off as an Ad Designer and currently Director of Audience Development. The Dispatch has been an interesting and challenging place to work. I'm fortunate to have made many friends, both co-workers and customers.
