Guiding Star Project hosts fundraising banquet

The Guiding Star Project will host a lunch featuring nationally known author/speaker Dr. Angela Franks from 1-3 p.m. Sept. 30 at Cragun’s Resort on Gull Lake in Brainerd. The knowledgeable and engaging Dr. Franks will address the urgent need for comprehensive, integrated pro-life centers that can challenge the toxic ideologies of eugenics and fertility control that have done irreparable damage to countless women, minorities, persons with disabilities and the poor. Attendees with hear how Guiding Star is working to unite and coordinate pro-life organizations to recognize the dignity and value of every human person in all stages of life. Table sponsorship opportunities are available for organizations and individuals. There is no charge to attend; however a financial appeal will be made. The Guiding Star Project is a non-profit organization whose mission is to bring about a Culture of Life through the nationwide establishment of comprehensive health centers offering life-affirming services for women and children. Last year’s inaugural banquet raised more than $33,000 to further this goal.
