Military museum offers 'Fallen Heroes' calendar

CAMP RIPLEY — The Minnesota Military Museum now has the 2013 Minnesota Fallen Heroes Remembered Calendar available to the public.

This is the fourth year the calendar has been published. It honors and remembers 12 Minnesota service members each year who have been killed in the global war on terrorism, with photos and stories provided by their families.

Cost of the calendar is $10 and all proceeds from the calendar go to the Bryan McDonough Military Heroes Foundation, an IRS 501(c) 3 foundation.

The Minnesota Military Museum is open seven days a week until Sept. 30. From Oct. 1 until May 1, they are open on Thursdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The calendar will be available in the museum store along with other military surplus items. Also available in the store are “Dog Tags” made to order.

The museum honors veterans in all branches of service in exhibits from frontier days to the present. For more information on the museum or volunteering at the museum please visit www.mnmilitarymuseum.org.
