■ Nisswa woman hospitalized
after she crashes into RV
BAXTER — An 84-year-old Nisswa woman was hospitalized Tuesday when the vehicle she was driving south on Highway 371, just north of Baxter, ran off the road and hit a camper and a pole at Pleasureland RV, reported the Minnesota State Patrol.
The state patrol reported the driver, Luverne Niemi, who was not injured, had a minor medical issue and was transported to Essentia Health St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd.
Baxter Police Department, Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office and the Brainerd Fire Department assisted at the scene.
The crash was reported at 1:53 p.m.
■ Merrifeld man injured
when vehicle lost control
MERRIFIELD — A 32-year-old Merrifield man was injured Monday when the vehicle he was driving on Sorenson Lake Road in Merrifield lost control and struck embankment on south side of road, causing the vehicle to roll several times before coming to a stop in the ditch on the north side of the road, reported the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office.
Zebulon Mark Hodel was taken to Essentia Health St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd, where he was treated and then released.
The crash was reported at 1:27 a.m.
■ Hillman man injured
in vehicle rollover
PINE CENTER — A 40-year-old Hillman man was injured in a one-vehicle rollover reported at 8:32 p.m. Saturday on Crow Wing County Road 8 and Poster Lane in Pine Center, reported the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office.
Bryan Schoenecker was transported to Mille Lacs Health System in Onamia Hospital. The hospital reported that Schoenecker was treated and then transferred to another facility.
Onamia Ambulance, Garrison Fire Department and Pine Center First Responders assisted the sheriff’s office at the scene.
