Firefighters respond to calls

■ Firefighters respond to calls

The Brainerd Fire Department responded to various calls over the weekend.

Firefighters responded to a call at 1:26 p.m. Friday to a fire in the ditch along Highway 371, south by Crow Wing Lake. It also responded to a personal injury accident at 3:52 p.m. on Wise Road in Brainerd.

On Saturday, firefighters responded to a call at 12:13 p.m. to the Brainerd Lakes Regional Airport to what turned out to be a false alarm. Then at 7:23 p.m., they responded to 10716 Tamarack Lake Road to a report of black smoke from a storage shed. It was unfounded.

On Sunday, firefighters responded to a call at 5:09 a.m. to a truck fire along Highway 210 near the former Matty’s restaurant.

Firefighters responded to a property damage crash at 10:51 a.m. Monday on Maple Street and South Fifth Street.
