A big thanks to the Brainerd residents located on 15th Avenue NE for their patience while we raced down the hill in front of their houses and for letting our spectators sit on their lawns.

A huge special thanks to the Downhill Drags Soap Box Derby committee members: Brian Ray, Meryle Gallant, Kathy Binder, Mike Brown, Paul Murray and Mary Murray. A special thanks to Dave Jones at the starting gate, and the staff: Jenny Barker, Herschel Templeton, and Larry and Bruce Ruikka for their hard work of setting up and taking down the equipment.

Thank you to the volunteers and parents for helping to provide the manpower for moving the cars up the hill. If I missed thanking anyone, I am truly sorry.

I've worked at the Brainerd Dispatch with various duties since Dec. 7, 1983. Starting off as an Ad Designer and currently Director of Audience Development. The Dispatch has been an interesting and challenging place to work. I'm fortunate to have made many friends, both co-workers and customers.
