Police: Minn. boy, 16, shot in head with arrow dies

CHASKA, Minn. (AP) — Police say a 16-year-old Chaska (CHAS'-kuh) boy who was shot in the head with an arrow has died.

Police Chief Scott Knight says Spencer Swanson was pronounced dead Monday evening at Hennepin County Medical Center.

Swanson was riding a bicycle Saturday evening when a friend shot him in the head with an arrow. The arrow was an aluminum shaft with no tip.

Knight says no arrests have been made, and the investigation continues.
