■ Possible electrical fire

turns out to be fireworks

BAXTER — An explosive sound led a caller to report to the Brainerd Fire Department for a possible fire at an electrical transformer Sunday afternoon in Baxter.

The report of a fire at the intersection of Ironwood Drive and Highland Scenic Drive came in few minutes after 3 p.m. but it turned out not to be an electrical fire at all. The explosive sound came from setting off fireworks.
