Nisswa Pioneer Village to celebrate City of Lights evening

NISSWA — The Nisswa Area Historical Society invites everyone to their Pioneer Village, Main Street, Nisswa, on Nov. 23, to celebrate Nisswa’s annual City of Lights. Luminaries and lanterns will line paths to the historic buildings will be lighted. Gates open at 4:45 p.m.

Complimentary hot cider and donut holes will be served by volunteers and the Black Bear 4-H Club will host a make and take craft activity in the Village’s Summer Kitchen.

Unique to the Village celebration are the Good Samaritan Community’s Love Lights a Tree ceremony and a living nativity sponsored by St. Christopher’s Catholic Church. “Polar Express” will be read in the historic caboose across the street.
