LWV to present film on women’s suffrage

The League of Women Voters of the Brainerd Lakes Area will present a program at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Brainerd Public Library.

The League will present the movie “Iron-Jawed Angels”, a film about the women’s suffrage movement in which young activists fight to help American women win the right to vote. The program is open to the public.
