Wreaths Across America ceremony planned at Camp Ripley

Wreaths Across America ceremony scheduled Saturday

CAMP RIPLEY — The Crow Wing Squadron of Civil Air Patrol (CAP) cadets and adults will participate in a Wreaths Across America ceremony at 11 a.m. Saturday near Camp Ripley at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery.

National CAP offices will participate in Wreaths Across America ceremonies across the nation.

The Crow Wing Squadron will have four cadet (teen) members participating in the wreath-laying ceremony as flag-bearers, along with others from St. Cloud and other military veterans. In addition, 20-plus teens will help lay wreaths in the largest section of the cemetery. The teens are from Brainerd, Aitkin, Crosby, Nisswa, Lake Shore, Fort Ripley, Pillager, Deerwood, Fifty Lakes and Emily.
