Little Falls woman injured in crash

Little Falls woman hurt in two-vehicle crash

A 90-year-old Little Falls woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash reported at 3:36 p.m. Tuesday on South Sixth Street and Oak Street, reported the Brainerd Police Department.

Sally Elizabeth Peterson was taken to Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd where she was treated and then released. The other driver, Mary Stumm, 48, Brainerd, was not injured.

It was reported that Peterson was traveling north on South Sixth Street and was turning east onto Oak Street, when the vehicle driven by Stumm on Oak Street ran a red light onto South Sixth Street and crashed into Peterson’s vehicle.
