Firefighters respond to three weekend fire alarms

The Brainerd Fire Department responded to three fire alarms during the weekend.

The first, at 12:06 a.m. Saturday on the 5200 block of Pine Beach Road, turned out to be unfounded. A general alarm was also reported at 6:05 p.m. Saturday at the Brainerd Area Civic Center. Finally, the third call came in at 4 a.m. Sunday with a burning complaint in Barrows that turned out to be a bonfire.
